The first ever Rivington Street Festival is hitting…. well, Rivington Street! Thousands are expected to hit the area and Cargo has put together a full day of music and events making ours the place to be!
Reggae Roast will be providing the tunes under the sun on the terrace and in the restaurant. Reggae Roast are one of the most vibrant Reggae collectives in the UK. Since 2007 the 2 piece sound system team have played club shows at pretty much every major venue in the UK, performed at Glastonbury, Bestival, Outlook, Camp Bestival, SGP & Big Chill, hosted the prestigious room 3 take-over at Fabric and promoted over 100 sell-out shows in the capital. Captivating audiences with every performance, Reggae Roast have become renowned for their uplifting sets, playing everything from foundation roots to sub-heavy dubstep, hosted by either MC Ishu or Ramon Judah + Clappers Priest.
Four:Four is returning for another day this weekend playing all day in the main room.
Keeping with the ethos of the festival we have looked no further than the local area for musical talent - Inviting Medlar, Kiwi, Nick Sabin and James Bennett to showcase their talents alongside our resident Michael Wells, who is flying high after his latest gig at the Mixmag party supporting Visionquest!
Jimbo Jangles is rounding things off in the main room from 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.!
The terrace will be in full form with the BBQ and outside bar!
So get down to get down!
